# Countersign an accepted quote

> Add your organisation's signature to an accepted quote, using your saved signature or a new one, so both parties have signed.

Once a customer has accepted, you can countersign the quote on behalf of your organisation. Your signature is added to the customer page, the PDF and the signature certificate, and the customer is told by email.

## Save your signature first (optional)

1. Open [Your profile](https://app.quoterium.com/settings/profile) from the account menu.
2. Under **Your signature**, draw it on the **Draw** tab or type your name on the **Type** tab.
3. Click **Save signature**.

Your saved signature is stored on your profile only. Use **Replace** or **Remove** to change it.

## Countersign

1. Open the accepted quote.
2. Click **Countersign** in the green acceptance notice, or choose **Countersign** in the **Actions** menu.
3. Choose **Use my saved signature**, or **Sign now** to draw or type a signature for this quote.
4. Click **Countersign**.

## What happens

- The acceptance notice shows who countersigned and when.
- The customer page shows "Countersigned for" your organisation with the date and signature.
- The PDF and its signature certificate include the countersignature, and the audit trail records it.
- The primary contact receives an email saying the quote has been signed, with a link to the signed copy.

A quote can be countersigned once. If the acceptance is undone, the countersignature is removed with it.
