# Download a PDF

> Download a PDF of any quote yourself, let customers download one from their quote page, and choose the page size.

Every quote can be downloaded as a PDF that matches the customer page: your logo, the items, totals, terms, notes and payment schedule. Costs, margins and private notes are never included.

## Download it yourself

Open the quote and choose **Download PDF** in the **Actions** menu. The PDF opens in a new tab, ready to save or print. Any unsaved edits are saved first.

## Customers downloading the PDF

When PDFs are enabled, the customer page has a **Download PDF** button at the bottom of the quote. An admin controls this in [Settings → Branding & layout](https://app.quoterium.com/settings/branding), under **PDF & access**:

- **Let customers download a PDF** switches the button on or off.
- **Page size** is **A4** or **US Letter**.

## What the PDF shows

- The quote as it is saved. Before acceptance, optional and multiple-choice items show your default selection; after acceptance, the customer's choices. Optional items are marked "Optional · included" or "Optional · not included", multiple-choice items "Selected option" or "Option".
- Prices, quantities and totals according to the quote's [price display setting](https://quoterium.com/help/writing-quotes/tax-and-price-display).
- "rev. 2" (and so on) beside the number from the second revision.
- For an accepted quote: an **Accepted** section with the signature, any countersignature, and a final **Signature certificate** with the audit trail. See [The signature certificate and audit trail](https://quoterium.com/help/customer-view-and-e-signature/signature-certificate-and-audit-trail).
- For a declined quote: who declined it, when, and their reason.

Dates and times are shown in your organisation's date format and timezone, set in [Settings → Organisation](https://app.quoterium.com/settings/organisation).
