# Using the dashboard

> What the dashboard shows first — questions to answer, drafts to finish, follow-ups and accepted quotes to countersign and invoice — and what its figures mean.

The dashboard is the first page you see after signing in. It starts with the quotes that need you, then shows how quoting is going.

## Needs your attention

Quotes that need something from you, in four groups, in the order to deal with them. A group only appears when it has something in it.

- **Questions to answer**: quotes with a customer question waiting for a reply. **Answer** opens the quote at its questions. See [Questions and messages](https://quoterium.com/help/sending-and-follow-up/customer-questions-and-messages).
- **Drafts to finish**: quotes not sent yet, and quotes taken offline for editing (the customer can’t see those until you send them again). **Finish** opens the quote.
- **Worth a follow-up**: sent quotes that have gone quiet or were never opened, and quotes the customer opened again after a quiet spell of at least your follow-up days. **Follow up** opens the follow-up email; **Dismiss** removes the quote from the list. See [Follow-ups](https://quoterium.com/help/sending-and-follow-up/follow-ups).
- **Accepted — countersign and invoice**: quotes accepted in the last 60 days that you haven’t countersigned yet or, when Xero is connected, haven’t invoiced. **Countersign** and **Invoice** open the quote at that step.

Each quote shows a line saying why it is there, for example “Sent 5 days ago, not opened yet”. With more than one user, **Scope** at the top of the page switches between the whole team’s quotes (**Team**) and yours (**Me**).

## How it’s going

Choose the **Period** (the last 30 days, 90 days, 6 months or 12 months; it starts at 90 days) and the **Currency** for the figures; the dashboard remembers your choices on this device.

- **Sent**: quotes sent in the period, with their value.
- **Accepted**: quotes accepted in the period.
- **Awaiting reply**: quotes sent in the period that are still waiting for an answer.
- **Not accepted**: quotes declined or expired in the period.
- **Acceptance rate**: accepted quotes divided by decided quotes (accepted, declined and expired).
- **Average value**: the average value of a sent quote.

Drafts, withdrawn quotes, templates and archived quotes are not counted. Each quote counts at the base-currency total stored with it; when you choose another currency, the sums are converted to it at today’s rate. When some quotes are in other currencies, a line under the figures says how much came from each (“Quotes in other currencies count at the GBP value stored with each: …”) and, in another currency than your base, “Shown in EUR at today's rate” with the rate’s date; see [How the dashboard handles currencies](https://quoterium.com/help/currencies-and-rates/currencies-on-the-dashboard). In the lists at the top, each quote’s total is shown in the chosen currency too, with the quote’s own amount underneath when it is in another currency.

Below the figures:

- **Sent and won**: what was sent and what was accepted, week by week (month by month for 6 or 12 months). Switch between **Value** and **Count**, or choose **Show as table** to read the figures.
- **Storage**: how much of your plan’s storage is used, split into library files, attachments, and images and files in quote text. **Manage files** opens [the file library](https://quoterium.com/help/writing-quotes/file-library).

## Your plan

Under the charts, three meters show this month's use of your plan: **Quotes this month**, **Users** (people in the team, pending invitations included) and **AI imports and drafts**, each as "used of limit" with how many are left. "No limit on your plan" means the plan doesn't cap it, "Free trial: no limit" that the trial caps neither quotes nor users, and "Your own OpenRouter key: no limit" that AI isn't counted against the plan because you use your own key. The meter turns amber from 85% and red at the limit. Admins have a link to Plan & billing.
