# Delete your account or organisation

> How to stop using Quoterium: cancel the subscription, remove people, and ask support to delete your organisation or your login.

There's no self-service button to delete an organisation or a login. Deletion is permanent, so we handle it on request.

## Deleting an organisation

1. Export anything you want to keep. See [Export your data](https://quoterium.com/help/security-and-privacy/export-your-data).
2. If you have a subscription, the owner cancels it under [**Settings → Plan & billing**](https://app.quoterium.com/settings/billing) so nothing more is charged. See [Cancel or resume your subscription](https://quoterium.com/help/billing-and-plans/cancel-subscription).
3. The owner then [contacts support](https://quoterium.com/support) from their sign-in email address, naming the organisation to delete.

## Leaving someone else's organisation

If you were invited to an organisation and no longer work with them, ask one of its admins to remove you under **Settings → Team**. Your login and any other organisations you belong to are not affected.

## Deleting your login

To have your personal login removed completely, [contact support](https://quoterium.com/support) from the email address you sign in with. If you own an organisation that other people still use, we'll ask you to hand it over first.

## Removing a customer's details

If a customer asks you to remove their personal details, you can delete their contact when no quote uses it, or edit the contact to remove the details. See [Archive, delete and merge](https://quoterium.com/help/clients-and-contacts/archive-delete-merge-clients).

How we handle personal data is described in our [privacy policy](https://quoterium.com/privacy).
