# Mark as sent, resend and share the link

> Put a quote live without emailing it, send the email again, or copy the customer's link to share it yourself.

## Mark as sent

If you would rather share the quote yourself, for example by pasting the link into a chat, you can put it live without sending an email.

1. Open the draft and choose **Mark as sent** in the **Actions** menu.
2. Copy the link from the **Customer link** line under the heading.

The quote becomes **Sent** just as if you had emailed it: it is dated, locked for editing, and views are tracked.

## Resend

To send the email again, for example if it went to spam or you corrected the contact's email address:

1. If the address was wrong, correct it on the contact first (see [Clients and contacts](https://quoterium.com/help/clients-and-contacts/clients-and-contacts)). The quote always uses the contact's current address.
2. Open the quote and choose **Resend** in the **Actions** menu.
3. Check the recipients and message, then click **Send now**.

Each person keeps the same link, so earlier emails still work. The History records the quote as re-sent.

## Sending to someone new

Recipients cannot be changed while a quote is live. To add a person:

1. Choose **Edit – take offline**.
2. Add them under **Also send to**.
3. Click **Preview & send** and send. Everyone ticked receives the email.

## Sharing the link

The **Customer link** shown under the heading belongs to the primary contact. Each recipient has their own link, so views, questions and acceptances are recorded against the right person. If you share one person's link with someone else, their activity is recorded as that person's.
