# Arrange items and reuse them from the library

> Reorder, duplicate and delete items, insert items from your library, save items to it, and push changes back to the library.

## Reorder items

- On a larger screen, hover over an item and drag the handle that appears to its left.
- Or open the item's **⋯** menu and choose **Move up** or **Move down**.
- Using a keyboard, Tab to the item: up and down arrow buttons appear to its left.

## Insert, duplicate and delete

Hover between two items to insert a **Price item**, **Text item**, **Subtotal** or an item **From library…** at that point. The same choices appear below the last item.

**Duplicate** in the **⋯** menu places a copy straight after the item. **Delete** removes it; if the item has content you are asked to confirm.

## Undo

The quote saves itself as you work, so the actions that replace content can be taken back: deleting an item, discarding your edits for the library version, unlinking from the library, removing a section and filling smart tags each show a message with **Undo**; choose it within a few seconds to restore what was there.

## Use items from your library

Two ways to bring in a library item:

- Type in an item's heading: matching library items appear with their price; click one.
- Use the **From library…** picker to search and insert a price or text item.

Library prices are kept in your base currency. When the quote is in another currency, they are converted at the quote's exchange rate and rounding. See [Quoting in other currencies](https://quoterium.com/help/currencies-and-rates/multi-currency-quotes).

The quote gets its own copy of the item, marked **From library**. Editing it here never changes the library, and later changes to the library never change this quote. If you edit the copy, it is marked **edited here**.

## Save items to the library

- **Save to library** in the **⋯** menu adds the item to your library so you can reuse it.
- For an item that came from the library and has since been edited, **Push changes to library** updates the library item, and the templates that use it, with your edits. Other quotes are never changed.
- **Unlink from library** keeps the item but stops treating it as a library copy.

Templates work slightly differently: their items stay linked to the library. See [Templates](https://quoterium.com/help/library-and-templates/templates).
