Clients and contacts
Companies and people you quote: adding, organising, merging and linking them to Xero.
- Clients and contacts: how they fit together Clients are the companies you quote; contacts are the people who receive your quotes. Here is how the two relate and how they appear on a quote.
- Add and edit clients Create a client with its contact details, address, tax number and preferred quoting currency, and keep those details up to date.
- Add and edit contacts Add the people who receive your quotes, attach them to a client, choose a primary contact, and create contacts on the fly from the quote editor.
- The client page and its statistics Each client has a page with its details, private notes, contacts, quotes and quoting statistics such as the value sent and the acceptance rate.
- Private notes on clients Keep internal notes about a client that your team can see but customers never do. They are copied into new quotes started from the client.
- Archive, delete and merge clients and contacts Tidy up your customer records: archive clients and contacts you no longer quote, delete unused records, and merge duplicate clients into one.
- Import contacts Bring existing customers into Quoterium: pick contacts straight from Xero while writing a quote, or ask us about moving a larger list.
- Link clients and contacts to Xero Link a client or contact to a Xero contact so invoices raised from your quotes go to the right customer in Xero.
