Quoterium

Who can see what

What your team members, admins, customers and our support staff can see, and what is never shown to customers.

Your team

  • Members can see and work on every quote, client, contact, library item and template in the organisation. They can't open organisation settings, the team page or billing, and can't raise Xero invoices.
  • Admins can also see and change all settings, manage the team and integrations, raise invoices and view billing.
  • The owner can also manage the subscription.

Details are in Roles and permissions.

Your customers

A customer sees only the quote they were sent, through its link. They see what you chose to show: the items, prices and totals according to the quote's How customers see prices setting, your terms, notes and payment schedule, and the questions and answers on that quote.

Customers never see:

  • cost prices, markups and margins;
  • private notes on quotes and clients;
  • the quote's internal activity history and earlier versions;
  • anything about your other quotes or customers.

While a quote is a draft or taken offline for editing, customers see a message saying it is being updated instead of the quote. You can also block viewing of expired or declined quotes under Settings → Branding & layout.

Views by your team don't count

When you or a colleague open a quote's customer link while signed in, it isn't recorded as a customer view.

Our team

Quoterium's platform administrators can open an organisation's account when that's needed to provide support or keep the service running. Every such access is recorded.

Other organisations

Nobody in another organisation can see your data. See How we look after your data.
