Create your account

Creating an account sets up your organisation and makes you its owner. You can start quoting straight away.

Sign up

1. On the sign-in page, choose Start a free trial.
2. Enter your Organisation name (your company), Your name and Email.
3. Choose a Password of at least 8 characters.
4. Pick your Base currency (see below).
5. Click Create account. You are signed in and taken to your dashboard.

Your free trial

New organisations start on a 14-day free trial. No card is needed. A banner at the top of every page shows how many days are left, with a Choose a plan link. See How the free trial works and Plans and pricing.

Choosing your base currency

Your base currency is the currency your library items, templates and statistics are kept in. You can still issue any quote in another currency, converted at the day's rate. There is no setting to change the base currency later, so choose the currency your business reports in. Read more in Quoting in other currencies.

What is ready for you

• A quote template called Standard quote, set as the default, with an introduction and an example price item.
• A default tax rate: VAT at 20% when your base currency is GBP, otherwise a 0% rate called "No tax". Add your own under Settings → Tax & categories.
• Quote numbers starting at Q-1, quotes valid for 30 days, standard terms and a standard quote email. All of these can be changed by an admin.

Joining an existing team

If a colleague has invited you, do not sign up separately: use the link in the invitation email so you join their organisation. See Invite your team.

Signing in later

Sign in with your email and password. If you have forgotten your password, use the Forgot? link next to the password field to get a reset link by email.
